The focus of the course is on two areas: 1) the theoretical principles that have contributed to the field of Instructional Design (ID), and 2) how those principles can be applied within practical settings of select professional settings.

ADDIE Mind Map
This assignment was a challenge to develop a personal ADDIE process as a mind map, a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts. It is a visual thinking tool that helps structure information, allowing one to better analyze, comprehend, synthesize, recall and generate new ideas.

The Signature Assignment for this course is the completion of the LDT 200X Inputs on the Instructional Design Document.
Instructional design is a multi-faceted discipline in which a lot is asked of instructional designers (IDs). This assignment serves to outline and develop an instructional design and development plan, while applying an extensive grasp of adult learning theory and learning models.
